Explore the wonders of Albania, where the combination of culture, history, and friendliness makes the country stand out as a top travel destination. The highlight is ascending Albania’s highest peak.
Our excursion will begin in Thessaloniki and end in Gjirokaster, through Egnatia Road. The journey will take 5 hours, giving us enough time to visit Gjirokaster at the end of the day. A Medieval city where you can admire the distinctive architecture of Gjirokaster, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, after checking into our hotel. The iconic castle at the top of the hill, the cobblestone alleys, the cultural heritage museum, and Enver Hoxha’s birthplace are all worth seeing.
